Technical products for grain handling from a single source

In animal feed processing, the efficient handling of grain is an important factor. The processes in the subsequent operation must be taken into account as early as the project planning stage. From development to production and assembly, everything comes from a single source at Hedemann.

Our experienced employees incorporate their expertise directly into our products. These are then adapted to your needs. Our own development department plans your grain plant and adapts it specifically to your requirements. Hedemann stands for durability. For this reason, we use proven materials to ensure low-wear operation of our technology.

Our conveyor technology products include elevators, trough chain conveyors, trough augers and tubular augers. If required, we also supply and install belt conveyors from well-known manufacturers. We have also implemented projects for the transport of fertiliser up to a conveying capacity of 300t/h.

To ensure that the grain is cleaned according to your requirements, we supply sieve cleaners, drum sieve cleaners and pre-cleaners based on the air classifier principle. With our reliable products, the delivered grain is cleaned professionally.

To ensure that the grain can be stored safely, various options are available to you. In addition to storage silos for indoor installation, round steel sheet silos are used for outdoor storage. For storage quantities up to 50 m³, GRP silos are the most economical option for gentle storage.

In order to dry the grain professionally, we supply various products such as roof replacement dryers, roof circulation dryers, warm air generators and drying fans. This ensures that the moisture content is within the reference range.

In order to avoid rejects due to incorrect storage, we also supply the appropriate aeration blowers and dosing units for grain preservation in addition to the storage technology that meets your needs. The conveying capacity of our dosing units ranges from 40 to 400 litres/hour.

For further processing of the grain, feed mixers and hammer mills are supplied with suitable grinding and mixing computers if required. Here, too, Hedemann's experience pays off. Together with renowned manufacturers, we also take care of the control technology for the efficient operation of the grain plant. Here, great importance is attached to energy efficiency and practical benefits.

In most cases, a grain technology project starts with a preliminary enquiry. Here, the rough requirements are determined in an initial telephone call or personal appointment. This is usually followed by an appointment on site to have the situation assessed by our specialist staff. During this meeting, we discuss the possibilities within the project. Subsequently, our customers receive a project sketch that illustrates the joint plant concept.

As soon as we receive the order, our design department begins with the detailed planning of the plant and our modern production facilities start working. In the end, you receive a product that simply satisfies you - for years to decades.
